# Frequently Asked Questions

## Can I change my SETU password from home?

SETU Waterford Campus has implemented a Self Service Password Reset program which is available to every registered students (and staff) of SETU.  When used, this program will change your password for all the following systems at the one time:

* Computer Login
* Moodle
* Online Student Services
* Timetables
* Library Systems
* Eduroam WIFI
* OneDrive
* Office 365
* Software Download site
* Microsoft Teams

You only have to register once but it must be done while you still have a valid password.  Once registered, you can then change your password at any stage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week while you are a current, registered student in SETU.

**Note:** Students must use their <studentnumber@wit.ie> to avail of this service.

#### **The Process**

Is your password still valid?  If it is, then click on the **Password Registration** icon at the bottom of this page and login to the system using your:

&#x20;**<studentnumber@setu.ie>** e.g. **<12345678@setu.ie>**

**<staff.name@setu.ie>** e.g. **<joe.bloggs@setu.ie>**

You can register for all three options but you only need to register for one!  You can decide to register with:

* Your phone to receive a text message or call
* An alternative email address to receive a code
* Select security questions which you can then use in the future to reset your password.

Once you have registered your option(s) then simply go to [here](http://www.wit.ie/wit-passwordreset) to reset your password if you find yourself in trouble.&#x20;

## I'm expecting an email but it hasn't arrived

* Always check junk and spam folders for emails just in case legitimate emails are placed into those folders.
* If you're expecting an important email and it hasn't arrived in a timely manner, contact the sender using an alternative method e.g. by phone. Sometimes, the sender may have put in an incorrect email address e.g. they may have transposed numbers when entering the address. Hence, the importance of following up on expected emails.
